DigestZen® - 15ml
Digestzen by doTERRA
This oil is just amazing for all things digestive in animals, and is the one oil that a couple of vets I know interstate use internally for horses.
They recommend adding just ONE drop to their feed or water to help settle any digestive issues they might have.
Alternatively dilute with a few drops of Fractionated Coconut Oil and rub on each flank.
And remember – these oils work for humans AND horses, so these same digestive rules apply to you – especially for those nervous Poo’s when it comes to show time!
Contains the essential oils of Anise, Peppermint, Ginger, Caraway, Coriander, Tarragon, and Fennel are also known for their soothing and settling aromas when inhaled.
How to use essential oils for horses
Start by presenting the oil to your horse for inhalation only. ONLY if your horse show positive interest in the oil, such as a willingness to continue inhalation of the oil and visible relaxation.
Gently massage one or two drops in a small clockwise circle to the following Endorphin release points to help your horse. apply to each flank.
Horses have a sophisticated sense of smell, therefore you will only need one or two drops endorphin release points. Never force essential oils on your horse if they show aversion. Some signs of aversion to an oil include waking away from the aroma, an aggressive emotional response, pacing, turning head away or showing respiratory distress.
